The Aerosolv® 7000 Super aerosol can recycling system is a safe and efficient method for recycling spent aerosol cans. It offers all the features of the original Aerosolv® Standard System plus greater vapor reduction, easy tracking, and added security. Its colormetric carbon filter indicates filter saturation.
The Aerosolv® system is lightweight, requires no power to operate and is portable, to be used in any location in your facility.
Lockout and shut-off mechanism seals the system and drum when not in use to eliminate the escape of hazardous vapors to meet OSHA requirements. Easily comply with your ISO 14001 program by using the built-in counter. Includes a combination coalescing/saturation indicating carbon filter, a padlock with key, anti-static ground wire with C-clamp, and safety goggles.
Aerosol Can Recycling System Features:
- Eliminate an entire RCRA waste stream and reduce disposal costs
- EPA verified
- Includes two-piece Combination Colormetric filter
- Slide bar on can chamber includes lock to provide tamper resistance
- EPA Compliant and ETV Certified
How does it work?
There are three separate components to the Aerosolv® system: The puncturing unit, the anti-static grounding wire and the combination filter.
The puncturing unit easily fits onto the bung of a standard 205L drum. When inserted properly the shoulder of the aerosol can seals against the tight surface. A simple pull of the hale pierces the can – leaving it safe to then handle and recycle.
The grounding wire prevents any static build up providing extra worker safety.
The contents are dispersed to the receiving drum; the particulate laden propellant is coalesced in the first stage of the Aerosolv® flter providing propellant flow through the Carbon cartridge.
