Barrier tape

Barrier tape is a lightweight, temporary barrier option to easily cordon off and to highlight restricted areas and to keep unauthorised people safely out of harm’s way.

This kind of barrier tape is often wrapped and affixed as a visual warning tool, for instance to warn persons against entering a dangerous area, such as:

• an industrial or commercial building site
• a roadworks construction site
• a contaminated site due to oil or chemical spills
• uneven ground surfaces
• the scene of an accident or a crime (for crime scene preservation);
• or to warn against the usual handling and operation of faulty or out-of-service machinery or appliances.
