Gas cages provide a robust solution for the secure storage of LPG cylinders, offering numerous benefits that enhance safety across various industries. The heavy duty steel construction provides protection in the event a gas bottle is compromised or ruptured. To compliment this our gas cages have an epoxy powder undercoat with UV-stabilised polyester powder topcoat for a protective finish for outdoor use.
One of the main safety features of gas bottle cages is the perforated walls and roof which provide natural ventilation. This means dangerous flammable vapours cant be built up inside a closed cabinet which reduces any potential fire risks.
All of our gas cages are also equipped with bolt down plates and padlock lugs which increases the security for LPG gas cylinders in the workplace.
AS4332-2004 refers to the Australian Standard for the storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). This standard is crucial for ensuring that all practices related to gas storage meet stringent safety requirements. It outlines compliance requirements that facilities must adhere to in order to minimise risks associated with LPG, which can be highly flammable and pose significant hazards if not managed correctly.
The AS4332-2004 standard provides guidelines on various aspects of gas storage, including design, installation, maintenance, and operational procedures. By following these safety standards for LPG, businesses can protect their employees, customers, and the environment from potential accidents or incidents related to gas leaks or explosions.
All of our range of LPG gas cages are not only made to meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS4332-2004 but they are made right here in Australia. No need to worry about any overseas port delays.
