Warning signs

Warning signs are used to indicate warning of a hazard or hazardous condition that is not likely to be life-threatening.

These signs are yellow in colour with black text and icons. All icons are housed within a black triangle.

Warning signs have been previously known as ‘caution signs’ but this terminology is no longer used by the Australian Standard. The terms ‘warning’ and ‘caution’ are now regarded as being interchangeable however.

Signs are available in a variety of sizes and can be manufactured on metal, polypropylene, corflute or self-adhesive labels.
