Respirator cartridges – A1B1E1K1 (pair)

This pair of A1B1E1K1 Multi-Gas/Vapour Smart respirator cartridges have been designed for use with Moldex half-mask and full facepiece respirators.

The A1B1E1K1 Class 1 cartridge replaces five individual filters, simplifying your inventory and decreasing any chance of misuse. Additional filter disks are available to further increase the protection delivered by these respirator cartridges.

The easy-to-mount bayonet style cartridge is simple to don and remove and the low-profile, angled position of the cartridges on both half-mask and full facepiece respirators ensure a wider field of vision.

A1B1E1K1 respirator cartridges protect from:

• A – gases and vapours from organic compounds with a boiling point above 65°C
• B – inorganic gases and vapours, eg. chlorine, hydrogen sulphide
• E – acid gases and vapours, eg. sulphur dioxide
• K – ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives

Use with P2/P3 particulate filters against even more combinations of contaminants.

Examples of use include:

Chlorine/sterilisation of water, chemical manufacture, hydrogen chloride/chlorinated organic chemical manufacture, steel pickling, sulphur dioxide casting metals, bleach manufacture, manufacture of sulphuric acid, fertiliser manufacture, metal cleaning, petroleum refining, ammonia/refrigeration, explosives, low boiling point amines, degreasing, paint vapour, electroplating, etching, printing, textiles, waste processing, aircraft maintenance, refineries.

Multi-Gas/Vapour Smart A1B1E1K1 respirator cartridges are sold in packs of two (1x pair per pack).

Disposal

If the product is to be disposed of, it should be dismantled from the respirator and disposed of as solid waste. Please see local authority regulations for disposal advice and locations.
